Group therapy is a powerful therapeutic experience! It is a unique opportunity to feel less alone and learn from others who understand what you are feeling, as well as leverage the natural healing process that comes from connection. Most group therapy participants find that group sessions maximize the positive benefits they are accruing from individual sessions, but you do not have to be seeing an individual therapist in our practice in order to participate in a group. Health insurance covers participation in group therapy, and we are in network with most major insurance plans! Read more about various group counseling opportunities below.
To sign up, complete the interest form linked below for the group you would like to join, or schedule a consultation call to get more information and enroll in a group.

DBT Skills Training
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training groups offer lessons on how to manage intense emotions, and is an evidence-based approach for helping clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and borderline personality disorder, among other concerns. We offer skills training groups that run in 8 week segments, focusing on one of the four DBT skills training modules per quarter: Mindfulness in summer, Distress Tolerance in fall, Emotion Regulation in winter, and Interpersonal Effectiveness in spring. You may begin at any module, and complete modules as many times as you wish!

DBT Skills Training Distress Tolerance Module – Fall 2025
Almost all people experience distressing times. The distress tolerance module of DBT Skills training focuses on how to manage during our most stressful moments. Sometimes big emotions can get the better of us, and we may want to act out or shut down. These skills help us get through stress without taking actions that make things worse. We learn to discern what we have control over and move through disappointment and anger in healthy ways. With skillfulness, we find ways to respond to stress that reflect our inner resilience, wisdom, and courage.
