Our mission is to increase access to mental health counseling services in our community, so making our services affordable is a central goal. Towards this end, we are contracted with a number of insurance plans as in network providers. Additionally, we offer reduced rates on a sliding scale based on income, and we are a part of the Open Path Collective, with a select number of slots available for reduced fee sessions.
Our Rates
We have set our standard rates at a level that makes it possible for our counselors to be fully available to you and others. In addition to meeting with you for your session, your counselor spends time reflecting, documenting progress, and planning for the next treatment steps. Counselors also need to spend time on self-care activities so that they can be fully present and attentive when in session with you and other clients. We have made an investment in our education and training and have put energy and time into setting up a calm and safe space in which to deliver effective and powerful therapeutic interventions, and we are passionate about using our skills to support your healing.
Standard rates for sessions with licensed clinicians:
- Individual sessions (45 minutes) – $150
- Individual sessions (55 minutes) – $175
- Couples sessions (55 minutes) – $175
- Family sessions (55 minutes) – $175
- Group sessions (60 minutes) – $125
Insurance
We are happy to help you find a way to utilize your health insurance benefits to cover the cost of mental health counseling services. We will submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf whether we are in network or out of network. When you schedule your first appointment, we will verify your benefits and make sure you are clear on exactly what portion of costs you will be responsible for.
In-network coverage
If your counselor is an in-network provider with your plan, that means we have agreed to accept a reduced rate from your insurance plan for our services and you are typically only responsible for a portion of costs – either a copay (an amount determined by your plan usually ranging between $5-$30 per session) or coinsurance (a percent of costs, usually ranging between 10%-20%).
The licensed clinicians (LMHCs) in our practice are currently in-network with the plans listed below. The limited permit holders (MHC-LPs) are in network with some of these plans. Please reach out to us to see if the clinician you would like to work with is in network with your plan. If you don’t see your insurance plan listed, feel free to get in touch with us to double check if anything has changed as we are actively working to panel with more insurance companies.

Out-of-Network Coverage
If your counselor is not in your plan’s network and you have out-of-network coverage, you would be responsible for costs up front until you meet your deductible (an amount determined by your plan, usually between $200-$1500).
After you meet your deductible, your insurance would begin paying a portion of costs, and you would only responsible for coinsurance (a percent of costs, usually ranging between 10%-50%).
